their cork mat is top-of-the-line – durable, supportive and feels great under the body. To some, cork initially feels slippery, but it’s not like that when you practice. The smooth surface allows you to move easily on the mat while the grip improves with just a little bit of moisture

I bring this mat to hot yoga and it is the best! I never have to worry about losing grip during poses. It also doesnt hold in a sweat smell like most yoga mats and cleans very easily. Definitely worth the money.

I love this mat so much - It's my favorite mat I've ever had. Before this, I had a manduka prolite, and a jade travel mat, and this mat is undoubtedly stickier than both of these notoriously sticky competitors. The padding is great. I love this thing and I've only had it two days.

OMFG, FINALLY!!! i’ve been on the quest for the perfect cork yoga mat since last October; and after trying two other cork mats that didn’t hold up against my rather specific requisites, I found this large x>pand one and it is literally the yoga mat I’ve been dreaming of. I cannot say how many hours I spent scouring the internet looking for something perfect. I wanted something long (I am a little over 5’9″, so I don’t *have* to have the extra space, but if you’ve ever used a larger mat and enjoyed the freedom of movement that it allows, it’s hard to go back to a shorter one). I’d tried a natural cork mat with a foam backing….disaster. This natural rubber backing is perfect: SO much support and comfort, rolls up very nicely and easy to travel with, but it’s not so thick that you feel off balance during your practice. The texture of this particular cork feels so nice; it’s not grainy or rough. When I say that I sweat a lot…i mean, I sweat……A LOT. A LOT. other non-cork mats that claim to be completely grippy even during the sweatiest of classes: I’ve tried every single one of them and most of them, for me, are a legitimate safety hazard due to slipping, unless i have a towel on top (but the whole point is to avoid the extra towel layer!). So, not only is this mat the most functional, comfortable, beautiful, luxurious and well-priced mat that I’ve ever encountered, it’s also SO eco-friendly, especially because urbivore plants a tree for every purhcase. 20/10 cannot recommend this mat enough. Thank you guys for offering this amazing product!

I have been using this mat for a month now and I am LOVING it. I decided to get the large series since I enjoy having a lot of space on my mat when I practice. It definitely isn’t inconvienently large and it’s perfect for my preference. I love the texture of the natural cork. It has the right grip I am looking for, yet is soft enough for the amount of glide I like as well. I appreciate the design with the natural cork on top and tree rubber on the bottom, as the mat doesn’t slide around on the ground. Overall, very well made and worn the wait 🙂 Thanks for an awesome product!
